My romance with the printed word began early - almost as soon as I could identify the letters. Ever since then a love for literature has defined my identity. It is perhaps not surprising that I ended up studying English literature and working for the publishing industry. I read anything and everything that I can lay my hands on, but am partial to children's literature, women's literature, folk lore, mythology, and re-writings of mainstream literature. Writing comes as a natural extension of wanting to share my ideas with friends. I am a big one for adda and am told that I am very talkative.
That apart, I enjoy seeing new places and meeting new people. I am also an avid fan of the performing arts, especially dance and theatre. I used to be a cinemaholic too, but don’t seem to find much time for too many of them any more.

As you point out, who will be interested?
