in a talk about Srila Prabhupada one night

someone claimed the words or his writings or purports were unarguable

the bhagavad gita is unarguable in plain translation i guess
the feedback i had on the outlook or intentions of Srila Prabhupada reiterated on what one Compaq computer tech i talked to in India said at 4 AM

…i had a question about the origin of the vedas or his insight
his teachers said even the most accurate translation is a partial interpretation of the author
…it was to avoid getting confused or to percieve the main three devas …that we must keep in mind the vedas go back 3000 or so years………
…his advise was to see things simpler or to reveiw the Mahabrata again or go back to the Steven Mitchell version of the Bhagavad Gita
also a reminder that the soul is eternal

i had to make it clear that Srila Prabhupada also talked plain to his initial following who wrote parallel books

Jack Kerouak or even the Grateful Dead

i noted that Swamiji in fact was somwhat openminded to whoever was willing to find the middle path
also the Tulasi plant in front of us might one strain or that Rama Tulasi is another so the soul might be similar

or even that the trend in hatha or vinyasa yoga or being hip enough to go to the produce stand small marketplace that attracts vegans might be something he had an indirect effect on

i had a closing arguement
…it was if i were to gamble to accept nothing or the cosmic Tao in the end rather than one of the vapor planets or Svetavipa that Krishna might grant the entire universe
